My name is Lynne Mathews, and I am the church Office Administrator.  I have worked for MUMC for 9 years and been a member of the church for 18 years.  I’m originally from San Diego where I met my wonderful husband, Tom.  We have been married for 29 years and have two children.   Our daughter, Vanessa, graduated in May 2009 with her Masters Degree in Higher Education and is employed with Bridgepoint Education in San Diego.  Also in May Vanessa was married to wonderful man, David Schoenherr.   Our son, Zack will receive his Business degree, with an emphasis in Finance, in May 2010. 

We moved to Murrieta 21 years ago to take advantage of the affordable housing and the small town life. While the small town grew into a large city, we would not change locations for anything.

Murrieta United Methodist Church welcomed all of us back in 1991, and this has become our family.  I’m proud to be on staff as well as an active member of this loving congregation.
