CHILDREN’S SUNDAY SCHOOL IS TAKING OFF THE MONTH OF AUGUST
This will be an opportunity for our children to worship with their families and the congregation in the sanctuary. There are activity books for kids on the table in the church entry way.
SUNDAY STUDY & DISCUSSION GROUP
The group is going to take a break for the rest of August. The study group will resume September 6th.
ICE CREAM FUNDRAISER AUGUST 30TH
The Missions Team will be sponsoring an ice cream sundae bar on Sunday, August 30th, in support of Rise Against Hunger. Please join us after the service to enjoy frosty scoops of ice cream with your favorite toppings. We will also offer “no sugar added” ice cream as well as sugar free toppings. If you would like to donate towards this wonderful cause, please use one of the offering envelopes in the pews and mark it RISE AGAINST HUNGER.
UNITED METHODIST MEN
We are concluding our study of the Letter to the Galatians that was started by Pastor Rob Calderhead. We certainly miss his presence at our studies and pray for his full return. We will meet Thursday, August 20th at 6:30PM in the Fellowship Hall. We will also simulcast on Zoom for those unable to attend in person. All men of MUMC are invited. CARING FOR OUR COLLEGE STUDENTS
School is starting and the Caring Ministry Team would like to stay in touch with our college students! TONIA CAPPS MEMORIAL SERVICE
A memorial service for church member, Tonia Capps, will be held August 29th at 10:00 AM with reception to follow in the Fellowship Hall. Please keep her stepdaughter, Laurie, and her niece, Stephanie, in your prayers.
