COME CELEBRATE OUR 140TH ANNIVERSARY
SEPTEMBER 13TH 10:00 AM
We will celebrate God's blessing of 140 years in this community with a special worship service followed by an old-fashioned church fellowship luncheon. For more information and to register, click below:
CHILDREN’S SUNDAY SCHOOL IS TAKING OFF THE MONTH OF AUGUST
This will be an opportunity for our children to worship with their families and the congregation in the sanctuary. There are activity books for kids on the table in the church entry way.
SUNDAY STUDY & DISCUSSION GROUP
The group is going to take a break for the rest of August. The study group will resume September 6th.
ICE CREAM FUNDRAISER THIS SUNDAY!
The Missions Team will be sponsoring an ice cream sundae bar this Sunday, August 30th, in support of Rise Against Hunger. Please join us after the service to enjoy frosty scoops of ice cream with your favorite toppings. We will also offer “no sugar added” ice cream as well as sugar free toppings. If you would like to donate towards this wonderful cause, please use one of the offering envelopes in the pews and mark it RISE AGAINST HUNGER.
Rise Against Hunger will be held on Sunday, September 20th, at 1:00 PM. We expect to fill 10,000 meals! CARING FOR OUR COLLEGE STUDENTS
School is starting and the Caring Ministry Team would like to stay in touch with our college students! TONIA CAPPS MEMORIAL SERVICE
A memorial service for church member, Tonia Capps, will be held this Saturday, August 29th, at 10:00 AM with reception to follow in the Fellowship Hall. Please keep her stepdaughter, Laurie, and her niece, Stephanie, in your prayers.
